Nordens Chartered Accountants & Advisors is delighted to announce that at the prestigious Accounting Excellence Awards 2025, held on 30 September at London’s Roundhouse and hosted by comedian Suzi Ruffell, the firm secured two major industry honours: Gold for the Marketing Campaign of the Year and Bronze for the Client Service Award (Medium & Large Firms).
The Accounting Excellence Awards, widely regarded as one of the UK’s top accountancy award programmes, celebrate innovation, client service, growth and leadership in accounting firms across the country. This year the awards introduced bronze, silver and gold recognition across all categories, expanding their ability to honour more firms.
Recognition Reinforced
For Nordens, these awards represent not a first victory but a meaningful return to the winner’s circle. Though the firm has enjoyed awards in the past, this recent duo of accolades marks a rekindling of external recognition for the direction, vision and impact of the business.
As Nordens’ CEO shared with the team: “To see Nordens up in bright lights on the screen, side by side with some of the absolute powerhouses of the industry, was a moment I’ll never forget.”
He added: “In the Client Service category we came third out of eight firms. Normally you’ll never hear me say I’m proud of coming third, but this was different. This was proof that Nordens can go toe to toe with the giants. And then… in the Marketing Campaign Award… we didn’t just hold our own… WE WON!”
From the firm’s standpoint, these awards reinforce two pillars of its strategy: best-in-class client service, and bold, values-driven marketing which moves the needle on important issues like neurodiversity.
Nordens was vying against standout firms like Affinia, Oscar Ip & Co Chartered Accountants, LB Group and Milsted Langdon LLP, among others – firms with strong reputations, solid resources and high visibility in the sector. Being recognised in the same line-up as them highlights just how far Nordens has come, and how serious we are about doing work that not only impacts clients but wins respect across the profession.
Award Highlights & Judges’ Perspective
Gold – Marketing Campaign of the Year
Nordens’ neurodiversity campaign was singled out by the judges as a “deserving winner,” with special praise for the campaign’s graphics that “summed up the scale and importance” of the topic, its strong personal narrative videos, and the fact that the strategy was accessible even to budget-conscious firms.
At Nordens, we believe neurodiversity is too often overlooked in business. Our campaign aimed to challenge stigma by raising awareness, sharing practical tools, and showing that difference is a strength. It was important for us to fight for greater inclusivity and ensure that business works better when everyone is able to thrive.
Bronze – Client Service (Medium & Large Firms)
The judges observed Nordens’ “significant growth, while maintaining such high levels of client retention and client referrals,” and noted how closely the firm’s client service strategy aligns with its vision, mission and values.
Securing bronze in the client service category – competing with some of the largest firms in the country – highlights Nordens’ capacity to deliver consistently for clients at scale.
